chopshop777 Posted November 30, 2010 Share Posted November 30, 2010 Reason being is that my mac book only has 38 gigs free left. so would I be able to install logic 8 or 9 on an external hard drive and then run it with my mac book ? David Nahmani Posted November 30, 2010 Share Posted November 30, 2010 No. Applications should reside on your system drive, which is (usually) the internal drive. However, the app itself doesn't take much space (less than 1GB). You could install the "Content" (Apple Loops, samples, etc...) to an external drive. You should install Logic on your System drive. Move other files to your external drive to free up space. I need this question answered before I make the purchase of either one. Either one?
