Hi I have a slightly embarrassing newbie question considering I'm know Cubase PT very well and have been doing scores for years.. lol

I just got logic Pro 9. Was able to hook up Vienna Ensemble Pro. Everything working great. But I can't for the life of me figure out how to access midi channels 2-16 on Vienna Ensemble. I can only access midi channel one. I don't see where you can choose the other 15. This is such a basic think of other daws. I'm trying to wrap my mind around the Logic environment but can't seem to figure it out. If some kind person could please explain or point me in the direction of a youtube video for dummies or something online I'd be very appreciative. I

Thanks so much!

I added the tracks you suggested but and still unsure how to assign them to vienna ensemble pro channels 2-15. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Maybe some extra steps? If I can just figure this out I'll be rockin Thanks so much

Pretty simple... Opened a blank project. Added a multi timbral instrument with 16 channels. Then assigned the first I/O to Vienna Ensemble. Multi output 16x stereo. Then named all the instruments accordingly. Now I can access all my vsti's like Kontakt, PLAY, Omnisphere, etc...on my 2 slave PCs. Works great! BUT I have another newbie problem perhaps someone could help...

When I use my volume pedal to write volume on one of the tracks, it effects ALL 16 tracks at the same time. Is there a way to make the volume pedal just write to the selected track ONLY?

Thanks!

There should be a + sign on the bottom right hand of the channel strip below the solo button on the multi-timbral instrument channel, click on that. That will create an aux channel strip, route your sound to it, then right click on the aux channel and select 'create/select arrange track'. That will allow you to automate the aux channels volume (and any other plug ins you have on it) in the arrange window :)
