H.W.
once I enter a lyric and want to go back and edit I can get back into the individual word and make the edit but then the tab button does not work to move the cursor to the next note/lyric- so I end up having to create a new line and then often the alignment is a bit off- if anyone knows how to get the tab button to work again, please let me know this is in Logic Pro 7.1.1 thanks! ski
TAB doesn't work with the editing of lyrics, only for the initial entering of lyrics. If you want to edit lyrics, double-click the word and correct it.
H.W.
thanks for the response, when entering new lyrics how can I ensure that the text will align horizontally with the previous lyric? often it seems a little off
ski
There's a really useful key command for this: • align object positions vertically Despite the name, it works to align things like lyrics, text, various dynamic symbols and other score markup along the horizontal. Select the lyrics, then hit that command.

Doug Z
Works great for chords as well, should you ever need to do such.
