missing sounds after upgrade and re-install.

Hello,

 

I am missing the loop upright jazz bass 10.caf. After searching my hd's it's obvious that 1-9 are not there either. I installed the jampacks as well as garageband and yet, these loops are not present. there are other sounds missing to but this one is a little more pressing.

 

does anyone have this loop and if so, I would greatly appreciate getting it from you.

 

also, why does logic do this?

Those loops are part of the Sound Effects and Music Beds loops (not part of the Jam Packs or GarageBand) maybe that's why you're not finding them in your drive?

 

Use Pacifist to search inside the content discs and recover them if they are in fact gone from your HD.

wow, thanks man. Yeah, I have those installed. It's funny, there are a few sounds missing and I wonder if they are not installed with logic 9.

If you already had them installed from Logic 8, you shouldn't need to reinstall them again.

 

Pacifist is extremely handy for this kind of thing, just type what you're looking for in the search box and extract or install.
