Third Party Plugin Help

Hi I've been using Logic 9 for a few days, I used to use logic express 7. So I know how to use Logic, but not very well. I was wondering in order to use Amplitube 3, Superior Drummer 2.0, Or BFD2 in Logic what I would need to set RAM settings to get it to run without freezing or System Overloading. One Problem I encounter quite a bit is that all of the audio vanishes out of no where when I use it, and I have to reset the program to hear the audio tracks again. I'm just trying get everything to run as smoothly as possible.
