JT3_Jon
Hello, I recently got a new mac pro, and wanted to continue a song I started on my old system, however its playing back audio in wrong spots. Its as if the audio in the take folders was relinked improperly. Is there anyway to have logic "relink" this audio so it plays back correctly? Note, I work off a project drive so all the audio is still in its original location. The only thing thats changed is the new computer and new OS (was on Leopard, now on Snow Leopard). David Nahmani
First I would check the "linking" in the Bin: select a region in the Arrange, check which region in the Bin gets selected, what audio file is the parent for that region, where it is in the Finder etc... If you want to force Logic to use a different audio file for your regions, then you need to close the project and delete the region it's currently linked to from the computer (might want to make backups first). Then reopen the project and Logic will prompt you that it's missing the file, and offer you to find it. You then find the desired file that will now be relinked to those regions.
