Logic Sustain Artifacts

System: 2.1Ghz Intel Core 2 Mac, with 4GB Ram

Version: Logic Pro 9

Controller: Yamaha Motif Original

 

I've been experiencing some artifacts during live playback, and after bouncing, that seem to appear when my sustain pedal is used. The Galaxy Vienna Grand is experiencing these hiccups. They are not very loud at all, and semi-frequent. They are also not random. They occur in exactly the same spot every single time once I have recorded the track.

 

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Could you somehow try to define 'artifact' ? Like, what it looks, tastes, smells or sounds like ?
