momanddadmusic
Hi Everyone, I'm new to Logic Pro, having just switched from Ableton & FL Studio. Really loving the program so far but I'm having trouble figuring out how to replace audio files sequenced in the timeline. For example, I've currently got a series of Kicks in a single track, but I want to replace the kick with a new one from outside of Logic. Is there a way to replace all the old Kicks within the timeline, with a new one, without having to delete the old kicks and, one-by-one, re-sequencing the new kick into the timeline? Any help is appreciated!

smallsaul
this is possible to do in the sample editor. simply drag the sample you want into the timeline. double click the new sample and click copy in the sample editor that should pop up. highlight one of the samples you want to replace, and then choose paste in the sample editor, and it should replace all the samples with the new one. it's not ideal, but it works for me. David Nahmani
momanddadmusic, what version of Logic? If you have Logic 9, you can use Track > Drum Replacement/Doubling.
