Using SMPTE audio to sync Logic

I have some 8 track tapes which I got transferred to audio, 7 tracks of recording plus one track of SMPTE stripe. Back when I had a tape machine the SMPTE drove logic sequenced midi, drums, strings and piano etc.

With tape stretch/wow and flutter and the passing of years the recordings are in time with each other but not with a fixed speed logic project.

Is there any way I can use the SMPTE time code audio track within Logic to sync the midi parts to the audio?
