traix
HI all, My UAD plugins took a nose dive today and wouldn't work, so I installed the new version of UAD 5.8 which is 64-bit. Installing the updated version of UAD has always done me well in the past, but the 64-bit version doesn't even show up in Logic. And yes, I have authorized everything and it looks fine from the UAD's applications. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Traix
redlogic
The 5.8 update gives you 64 bit drivers for the UAD card, allowing it to be "seen" when booting the OS in 64 bit kernel. The plug-ins are still 32 bit.
Ashermusic
And you have to open Logic as 32 bit to re-scan the plugs after an update.
jaypinto
...and then, open in 64 bit and they will be there; but with the 32 bit bridge
