PoulM
Hey Everyone. I'm extremely new at logic and am trying to figure out how to sample music. I read that you can't sample mp3's in logic because it won't work with the esx24, so I need to convert it to .wav? I did that using a converter (I wonder if there is a way to do it within logic) and then once I dragged it into the arrange window, it will play, but it's sped up a lot! It sounds like chip munk style?! I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here, and if someone with patience could help me out here that would be much apperciated! Thanks! David Nahmani
You can convert it in Logic: from the Bin, Audio File > Copy/Convert File(s). Make sure the sample rate is the same as the sample rate of the project (Settings > Audio) otherwise you'll get the chipmunk effect.
