dukeofblizzard
I recently upgraded from LogicPro 8 to 9 and when opening one particular song I get the message "One or more multiple audio regions changed in length". I have checked the sample rate has not changed from the original 44.1KHZ and am at a loss as to what is going on! Can you help please
MT
I've been getting that too, and haven't added to the length of any regions or tracks. A little mystifying.
ski
In my experience, this error appears for one of two reasons... 1) no reason at all. A long-standing glitch sometimes causes this error to pop up, quite inexplicably. On the flip side... 2) if you changed the length of an audio file in another project that uses that same file (like a backup or updated copy), you'll get this error message -- legitimately. It's important to note the distinction between changing the length of a region in a project that references an audio file, and actually changing the length of the audio file itself. This can occur if you perform editing operations such as TRIM to the actual audio file in the sample editor
MT
Then in my case, the answer is: "1. No reason at all." I just escape the dialog box and continue on as if I hadn't seen it. Doesn't seem to affect a thing.
dukeofblizzard
thanks for your responses, I am in the option "A" camp... None of the audio tracks are in sync. I have not edited the audio files since migrating from Logic 8 to 9 and quite at a loss as to why this haws happened to these tracks I have spent countless hours crafting...
