Chimpotle Posted January 2, 2011 Share Posted January 2, 2011 IF i understand the question, i think its more than just messing with the delay settings. What i think you need to do to get that fade-in predelay is to put a delay on a vocal track, then bounce that track down to another audio track WITH the delay printed. Then double click the new bounce to open up the wave editor. Highlight the wave, then select reverse audio from the drop down menu in the the editor screen ( i think its factory). So you now have two tracks - the first is your original, with the delay coming after the vocal ("I"), and the second track, which has the predelay. You will have to edit the waves on the bounced track to cut right before the "I". For a much better explanation of this, check out Davids apple pro training series book on logic 9.
