ghgm2008
Hi there, I am wanting to be able to build software instruments that consist of 2 (or more) individual synths which play together..... For instance, an ES1 and ES2 loaded as 2 tracks - play the keyboard and both sound..... record a midi sequence and when it plays back - both sound. I can get both instruments playing by cabling them directly to the input keyboard in the environment - but when I play any recorded sequence back - the sequencer just plays whichever track/instrument I recorded to - not both of them. I realize that I could just then copy this sequence across to the other track and this would do it - but surely there's a more elegant solution than this ? Any help appreciated. Cheers George. seeren
Make a dummy instrument track with no plug, and cable that to the guys you want to sound.
David Nahmani
You could just record-arm the two tracks. Both instrument will play together, and when recording, the selected track will get a MIDI region, the other one will get an alias of that MIDI region, so playing the same thing.
