Arkadi
Hi - quick question... When Importing a quicktime into Logic today, the audio from the quicktime is going out to my main stereo out and I have no way to turn it off or control it in anyway. Is there a button for this somewhere? Thanks!
Jordi Torres
There's a couple of "buttons". If you open the movie window in Logic, you can bring the volume down using the slider in the little speaker icon in the lower left corner. Or go to Settings > Video and use the Movie Volume slider. David Nahmani
When Importing a quicktime into Logic today, the audio from the quicktime is going out to my main stereo out and I have no way to turn it off or control it in anyway. Just to make things clear: the quicktime audio is going to your system audio outputs. It has nothing to do with Logic, in fact that audio never goes through Logic's audio engine, and it does not register on any of the channel strips in your Logic mixer. If you wanted, you could simply mute your Mac, or turn down the Mac's volume, and you'd get rid of that quicktime audio. Logic's audio uses its own I/O settings set in Logic's audio preferences, independently from the Mac's I/O settings in the system audio preferences. I hope that helps clarify things a bit.
