Transpose Chord Names in Global Track

trying to move the chord names down a step in the global track but the line on the transposition track does not stay fully highlighted, only letting me do one at a time-

 

anyone know how to do this?

Click the Transposition global track header, and drag the transposition line vertically.

thanks, but when I do that the whole line does not stay highlighted and only allows one chord at a time- tried holding down other keys too (option, shift etc)

yes, your instructions are clear- but again when I go to drag the line down vertically the whole line does not stay highlighted and thus I can only move one chord at a time

Works fine here!

 

Try using Shift selecting one chord at a time or just lasso mark all of them.

Try this: open an empty project, create three chords, and try to select the transposition lane by clicking its header, then drag it down by a few semitones - does that work?

 

Which version of Logic 9 are you using? It would help if you would add your subversion (e.g. Logic 9.1.0) in your signature.

yeah that worked, strange it did not work in other project, I unchecked no transpose and no reset-

Not sure why it wouldn't work in your project - maybe try to do it two lines at a time rather than the whole global track worth? Then 3 lines, then 4 etc... maybe you'll find a section of your project where it doesn't want you to transpose?
