swpowe
After updating to Logic 9.1.3 Logic seems to only be using 1 core. I know about spreading things on multiple tracks to use multiple cores, this seems to be something different. The transport bar now only shows one cpu meter as if I only have a single cpu. If I double click on the cpu meter it pops up the floating cpu meter which does show 4 cores but it is only using 1 core no mater how many tracks I try and run it always runs on one core. This is the same machine I've been using for several years and now I can't do much of anything with just 1 core available. Any suggestions? triplets
You have a processor management option now in Logic's Audio Preferences. Look for it.
Mehdi
The cpu view in the tarnsport has changed, It doesn't show anymore all cores, but as if they were one big. You'll notice also there's a small yellow line in there, that's where's your cpu is at. A least here there's often correlation between it and my cpu load. ChrisThom
Would it be better to set it to automatic or to tell it directly how many to use?
