Midi events disappear

Hi, i have 2 displays, one has the arrange and the other the matrix/piano roll window, i have a midi channel controlling a keyboard that returns to my interface in audio, so when my midi region does a lot of changes and long silences, i want to ALWAYS see the midi region in the matrix/piano roll and do the recording stuff in the display containing the arrange window BUT each time i press Record, all Midi events disappear from the piano roll window as if i would never have selected nothing, then I have to search my midi region i was recording (i usually use a lot of channels) and click it so the events apear again, i have to click it every time I have to start a record, this is quite annoying specially whit drums, i only want that, my midi region is always visible in one of my displays, no matter if i press Record
