workman
I hope I'm not posting this in the wrong place - it's not strictly a Logic issue, but it affects the work I've done in Logic. I have Waveburner1.6.1 (331.9). Before Christmas I used it to create CD of my latest project. No problems. Now, suddenly, when I try to use it for a new project, the output defaults to the built in speakers. In "Preferences" it doesnt even give the option for my external output (Presonus Firepod.) All my other applications (Logic, Quicktime, etc) recognise and use the external output. My system wide preferences are set to use the external. I have googled this and people have had the same problem in the past, but I haven't found a real solution. All my system software is up to date- which could be the problem I guess, some kind of conflict with the latest OSX version perhaps. But has anyone found a way to resolve this? Thanks. Eric Cardenas
Did you try to drag the preference file to the desktop and then starting WB?
