Looping vs. Crossfades?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm new to Logic. I've just migrated from Cubase and have a problem figuring out one important question :) - how do I get rid of the "spiting" noise, which is generated by looping a sample? In Cubase this would be solved by "auto crossfades", which would smooth out these unwanted noises.

I really tried to google this issue, but didn't succeed. Perhaps you could help.

How I created the loop: Imported a live recording of electric guitar, set the project to right BPM, splited the sample at bars and used the loop function. The loop works great, but the spitting noise at the end/start of the sample...

Thanks a lot.
