hudson Posted January 25, 2011 Share Posted January 25, 2011 It's got a good sound to it, definitely not bad, but it doesn't really have a sustainable hook. During the middle section of the song (without the vocal sample) I find myself losing interest. Overkill on the vocal sample as well. I kept waiting for another texture to enter, a lead vocal or spoken word, but it never happened. By the end of the tune the vocal sample was just annoying. To sum up my thoughts: the mix was too one-dimensional. That said, I liked the sound of the beat. It was very catchy and real laid back.
