It starts off on 0 and than the bar suddenly drops down to 20-30 db? if i move it back to 0 and play for a little while, after 30 seconds it drops again. is it my hardware? im using mobile pre. master and stero stay the same. only the instruments or the tracks i make keep dropping

Jordi Torres
More details about your setup would help figure out what's going on (Logic version, OS, etc...please add that to your signature, as per forum rules). Any MIDI devices plugged into your computer when this happens? Does it also happen on a new, empty project? J.
Scott Jackson
Sounds similar to the problem which was solved in this thread.

I dont understand how to fix this tho. Scott has one of those I think, so he may know what to do about it. It's basically sending out MIDI volume data, and Logic's responding (its faders)...(You could always block this data from coming into Logic, but it's better to fix it at the source, the axiom) J. After recording some MIDI select the region and look in the Event List for Controller 7 data. Is there any? As Jordito said, your keyboard is sending CC7 controller events. You could try Panic as described in the manual to reset all controllers. Press Data 1 and Data 2 simultaneously. If all else fails you can completely reset your keyboard.
