Deepraker
hi, how to copy and paste a track from a project to another with the automation datas? If i copy and paste it does not copy these automation datas and the effects. Thanks

Scott Jackson
If you were on Logic 9 you could import the data into a new empty project. I think for you, Save As under a new project name is your best option. Then delete anything you don't need in the new project.
Jordi Torres
You could also copy/paste data from project to project. Automation: Command click the automation value slider (the vertical yellow line in the track header), Copy. Select the destination track in the other project, Paste. Effects: From the Setting menu in the channel strip in the source project, select Copy Channel Strip Setting (or use the key command)...and from the Setting menu in the destination project's channel strip, Paste Channel Strip Setting (o key command).
