jonnik
Hi I recorded a stereo track from hardware synthesizer to a stereo track (panned 0) in Logic. I need to pan it left to about 35. But as I was doing that in Logic I noticed that what Logic did was simply decreasing volume of the right channel. By this I lose half of the sound and its pecularities. However what I need is simply move the stereo "source" of the sound to the left, not cutting half the sound in the right channel. What am I doing wrong? David Nahmani
In Logic on a stereo track that round knob is a Balance knob (vs a Pan knob on mono tracks). Try using the Direction Mixer plug-in (under Imaging). Use the round "Direction" knob and keep it between -90 (hard left) and +90 (hard right). AirtonPS
In Logic on a stereo track that round knob is a Balance knob (vs a Pan knob on mono tracks). Not only in Logic, but most mixers work this way too!
