Oxygen
Whenever I try to record anything, my sample always plays throughout the 4 clicks that are counting me in. There are no notes at all in this area, yet the sample continues to play and even though it will cut off once recording begins, it is still annoying and throws off my timing. Does anyone else experience this and if so is there a way to stop it? Thanks
Scott Jackson
I'm not sure if I understand your question but I'm assuming you're talking about starting recording somewhere in the project other than the beginning. If so, what you may be looking for is Project Settings>MIDI>Chase. Uncheck the Notes box at the top.
David Nahmani
Whenever I try to record anything, my sample always plays (...) What sample? How is it triggered? Is it in an EXS24, an Ultrabeat, another software? Does that software have its own built-in step sequencer? Or do you trigger it with a note on the track, and if yes what is the position of that note?
Oxygen
they are triggering out of battery 3, and I am talking about recording in from the beginning where the count is before the 1st bar. Even if no sound is playing and the cursor is at the beginning of the first bar, when I hit record, the end of one of my samples will play, its weird. Any ideas are appreciated.
