Nickeroo
Hello, I have a track and I have cut the ending of it because I want to add a new ending. However, when I deleted the unwanted section, there is still reverb on the piano as if the notes are still ringing. The problem is that when I try to record the new ending, I am getting the ring/echo of the previous ending on top of it. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I am using Logic 9, and the midi instrument is the Steinway Piano. Thanks, Nicky
David Nahmani
Hey Nicky, Open the MIDI region in the Piano Roll and resize the last note(s), or select the region in the Arrange area and in the Inspector to the left, select "clip length" which makes all MIDI notes stop where the MIDI region ends. Nickeroo
Thanks so much David. Selecting "clip length" worked. When I went to the piano role the midi region didn't actually extend beyond where I wanted it to end...eventhough I could still hear the sound continue to ring. But the clip length worked. Thank you!
