shatteredmusic
Hello. I am the singer/keyboard player in my band. I have a Macbook and Logic Pro 9 and just recently bought a M-Audio Pro 61 Midi Controller and have just started using it at our gigs with Mainstage. Everything sounds fine and works fine, but I will be in the middle of playing the midi and the sound will just cut out for a second and then work again and then cut out. The computer was just reformatted and the only thing I have installed since was Logic Pro 9. I don't know what is causing this. I have read some stuff and it could be that I am not using a power chord? As of now, I'm just using the USB. Should I use an interface? I really don't know why it is doing this and it is a really annoying at shows because most of the time I am playing piano it is just me playing so it is very noticeable of the cutting out of sound. Any help would be amazing! Thank you
thinkofone
Sounds like you're using it in Edit mode and not Performance mode (see tabs at the top). In edit mode it auto saves every few minutes and causes a dropout. It took me a while to realise this since the manual doesn't seem to mention it, and it doesn't auto-save unless you make a change to something.
