Logic 9 Preference options

hey guys n00b here

 

im a long time cubase user however i recently moved to mac and got logic 9,

 

and i must say im very impressed, however i just had a quick question basically i got logic 9 installed it and started using it haha

 

i never changed my preferences im a metal producer so my projects are quite plugin heavy and i just wondered if there was any preferred settings etc for audio quality and cpu usage

Always record in 24 bit.

Use busses and aux channels to minimize plugin use, wherever applicable.

Use a 2nd internal or external HD for your projects.

Try 88.2k or 96k sample rate and see if you hear a difference in the low end and upper high end.
