triplets
Did you notice that's a keyboard for Logic 6 and Logic 7? A lot of the key commands changed for Logic 9. 120 quid for something outdated? I would return it.
chrisgil
So I definitely cant set the key commands to work with this keyboard?? if not, is there a keyboard for logic 9?
triplets
Sure you can set it. Any keyboard works for that matter. I'm just surprised that you're spending that money for a keyboard. Option K in Logic gives you the key command window. You can click on Learn by Label or Learn by Key and specify what you want.
Jordi Torres
There's also a key commands file and instructions you can download from Logickeyboard's website...but kind of pointless if the one you got is for older versions of Logic http://www.logickeyboard.com/shop/euro/external/menuitem/downloads.htm J. Andyreww
You could also try a keyboard cover : http://www.kbcovers.com I have one - very impressed with it.
chrisgil
thanks for that downloaded the key commands. a lot of them still dont work. even though they all have been inserted into the right places. none of the f keys work. i.e. f4 is supposed to bring the scissor tool up, but it brings the apple dashboard up. id say most of the key commands are not doing what they should. is there anything i need to do with the settings? cheers

At some occasions the F-keys will not function as specified in this user information – this is not a fault of the key command file but due to MAC OS is using some shortcut keys linked to the F-keys. This can easily be changed by going to System Preferences, International, Keyboard and Mouse, Keyboard shortcuts – click out the F-keys and they will then work in Logic Pro. Note that you don't necessarily have to go to International to get to Keyboard Shorcuts...?? J.
chrisgil
ok yep, just read it. ok the f keys are working, will check the rest in a bit. Another thing. I cant get the secondary tool to work. from what I gather you should just have to click the cmd key and the secondary tool comes up, but its not doing anything
