sia Posted February 15, 2011 Share Posted February 15, 2011 I'm trying to create a polyphonic synth tone in ES E. I've already made the basic synth, but I heard this amazing effect in a song and I've been trying to replicate it ever since. This is Royksopp's "Vision One". The sound I'm aiming for kicks in at around 0:43. The closest effect I can find in Logic is the Ringshifter... it's close, but not close enough. kraze Posted February 15, 2011 Share Posted February 15, 2011 Do you mean the bass synth? Definitely not anything you can pull off with the ES E. A good analog emulation synth and a great distortion plug-in is what you need. Make a really fat bass sound, then put a slow Auto Filter after it, before mad distortion.
