Ben Young
Greetings all, Say I wanted to automate cutoff from bottom to top to bottom, at a rate of 5 oscillations per measure. Is there a way to change the division to 1/5(or any other number not a multiple of 2 or 3)? Alternatively, is there a way to time-stretch automation? I could just make a 5-bar automation sequence and shrink it to one bar. Thanks EDIT: I am using Logic 9.1.3 on a macbook pro
Scott Jackson
Alternatively, is there a way to time-stretch automation? Here's one way you can do it. Set the Output of your track to an unused Bus. In the Mixer change the Automation parameter of the Aux channel strip from Off to Read. Logic will automatically create an Aux track in the Arrange. Move this track below your source track. Now on the Aux track, use the Pencil tool to create an empty region of the appropriate size for your situation. Now automate the Aux track, then choose Track>Track Automation>Move Visible Track Automation to Region. Now close the Automation lanes and Time Stretch or Reduce the Automated Aux region to the appropriate length.
