Guitarfreak
I can imagine using this plug much more if I were better at using it. Every time I feel like using it on a track I can't seem to get it to do anything other than sound like a static low frequency generator. I've tried running it in parallel using buss sends and tweaking to my heart's content, but I've never been truly satisfied with the results. If anyone has any pointers they can throw my way I would be grateful.
shivermetimbers
Not knowing what you are trying to accomplish, I would recommend you don't use it. If you really think you want to, read up on it in the effects section.
Guitarfreak
It depends really. Sometimes I want to put it on guitar tracks to get a really sludgy bassy sound like on Electric Wizard tracks. Other times I want to add some thump to a bass track or kick drum and desire a little bit of a 'cleaner' tonality that's more tonal. I've gotten closer to the 'sludge' guitar sound than I have to adding thump in a clean way. I will read up on the effects section, thanks.
