Reason Rewire problem

Hello,

 

I have tried everything but I can't rewire Reason to Logic. I get to "create channel auxillery strips" in option berfore Reason fails to come up in the input menu.

Start off by opening Logic first, then you can open Reason which should indicate Rewire Slave Mode.

 

Remove the Reason mixer if it's there (I don't think you really need it if you are using Rewire) then create a new instrument (say Subtractor for this exercise)

 

Go back to Logic, create a new external instrument track in the arrange window, open the library & you should see a folder labelled Reason. Open the folder & select Subtractor, the track in the arrange window will change to an Aux track.

 

Now open the mixer window, create a new Aux track, Format: mono (dependant on the instrument, Subtractor is mono) Input: Reason > RW:Mix L Output:As required

 

Now you can play the synth through Logic the same as you would any other.
