liquidlogic
Hey all I imported a bass track as a .wav file. I bounced it out of another logic session at 44.1 24bit.. I imported it into a new session with same sample rate and tempo. When I turn on flextime and analyze it in monophonic mode it double time it ( just speeds it up alot) any ideas? David Nahmani
Try to turn off Flex, then choose Options > Tempo > Remove Tempo Information from Audio File and see if that helps? EDIT (2022): you now choose Edit > Tempo > Remove Original Recording Tempo.

caff150
I can't find options. where is that?
Eric Cardenas
The Options menu was part of Logic Pro 9. Choose Edit > Tempo > Remove Tempo Information from Audio File, in Logic Pro X.
oxband
I'm trying to do this now.....5 years later. I don't see any Remove Tempo Information from Audio File. Which selection do I need to do this?
David Nahmani
Select the audio region and choose Edit > Tempo > Remove Original Recording Tempo.

I found this old thread and I would suggest that you edit this particular reply with both locations (old versions of Logic as well as new), even though Eric and yourself give the answer below, maybe it would be better to just have this reply mention the new location to this option as well By the way, this fixed an issue I was having as well. Thanks! Edited June 20, 2022 by Danny Wyatt
