Creaseman
I resently updated my operationg system to Snow Leopard 6.0, and I have yet to be able to change Logic 9.0 to 64 bit mode. I have clicked apple or command I and the 32bit is locked meaning it's greyed out and I can't change from 32 to 64 bit mode in Logic 9.0. Will someone please explain how change from 32 to 64 bit mode in Logic 9.0! Sincere Peace, Creaseman

Will someone please explain how change from 32 to 64 bit mode in Logic 9.0! Sincere Peace, Creaseman I'd say update to 9.1.3 first, then see if it's still greyed out. Because if I remember well 64bit possibility came out with 9.0.1 or 9.
CCTMusic
Hi Logic v 9.1 is where 64bit was introduced. Also needed is OSX.6.2 or later. http://support.apple.com/kb/DL987 CCT

Creaseman
Thanks fellas, but it is still grayed out and wont allow me the option to change logic 9.1.3 from 32 bit to 64 bit. Yes, I have the latest version of Snow Leopard OSX 6.2.7. Can somebody help me? Sincere Peace, Creaseman
David Nahmani
Quit Logic first. Then you should be able to change the setting. Also, please change your signature if you're on 9.1.3 - that would avoid much confusion, as in this thread. Thank you!

Creaseman
As I opened my appliction folder and highlighted Logic and pressed command I, the options I have are a 32 bit box that is checked and a grayed out box that says locked. However, I have three Logic Icons in my application folder one is Logic, the other is Logic 8, and the third is Logic 9.0. However, when I open Logic the version is 9.1.3, but I don't have an Icon that has Logic 9.1. V/r, Creaseman
Jordi Torres
Uncheck the open in 32 bit box in the "Logic" app (9.1.3) and you'll be set to go. J.
