Fade/crossfade tool (slow down option?)

does any one know why when i open the tools it only gives me the option for cross fade tool and not fade tool? When i make a fade out i should be able to right click and select slow down but i dont have the option for some reason. Is this because i can only use the crossfade tool and not the fade tool, and if so how do i access the fade tool if its not in the drop down menu.

You're looking in the wrong place. The Fade tool is accessible if you hover the cursor in the top right hand corner of the Region. The cursor changes to a fade tool (so no need to access the Tool menu)

Thanks i figured that way out but there is an easier way that i was able to do before on a different computer. i just dont know why i dont have the option.

You're not able to choose the type of fade from the drop-down menu if you right-click the fade?

is there a way to change the cross fade to fade tool? thats what he uses in the video

Are you on the latest Logic version?

Do you use the fade tool click zone? You enable in that in Logic's preferences in General/Editing.

By having your set up in your signature it might help all this to-ing and fro-ing of Forum members trying to offer you some advice if we actually knew which version you were running. Have you thought (& this is a wild guess) that your version might not have this function?
