rekloos
never really liked the way logic 8 handles midi data and controller assignment so i was wondering, for those who have logic9, is it any better/easier? thx...

It's still the same as far as controller assignments go, but 9 is better because 8 would crash and lose data. I am much happier on 9.

shivermetimbers
how is that? does it have an automatic save feature prior to crashing? kinda like what ableton does? Logic 7,8, and 9 save the controller Assignments automatically when quitting and loads them when starting. Logic 8 had a nasty habit of letting me spend a great deal of time setting up assignments and then crashing. Sometimes 8 would not crash, but simply delete the assignments. I haven't had that problem in 9, then again, I hardly use the controller anymore.
