David Nahmani
Make sure "Normalize" is set to off when bouncing. Make sure you're not clipping your Stereo Out when playing (unless you want a clipped digital audio signal).
alexfsu
ok, so I'm not clipping. how do I turn off normalize? i only see an option under functions to activate it. thanks for the help!!
David Nahmani
In the bounce dialog, you'll find a Normalize option, make sure it's set to off. When it is, what you bounce is what you get when you press play - same level, same zeros and ones, same sound.
alexfsu
oh ok, i was doing "bounce regions"...i see the option under "bounce". But now when I bounce the three tracks into one file and call it up from my hard drive, there's no sound at all.....
David Nahmani
Bounce Regions should also have a "Normalize" option: what sub-version of Logic 9 are you using? Please add your Logic version and system info to your signature: Read Me Before Posting - Forum Guidelines (#5) What kind of tracks are you trying to bounce: audio, software instrument (which ones) or external MIDI (routed to what)?
