Some serious trouble with Logic? Help me out!

Just started using Logic. been using it for 4 weeks now.

Everythings been going great until this week.

First I had problems with the solo function, but it worked out thanks to u guys. I'm still having trouble with the latency.

But today I discovered something really wrong. If it's much worse than the latency problem, well kinda.

Had to figure out the latency so I had to record one track i/o through my interface. This is what I discovered. When going out and in the signal gets phase reversed! How can this be?!?!?!

I'm using Digi002r with a Lynx aurora through adat.

My first thought was. Maybe it's the interface? Swapped the lynx to a behringer ada8k. Nope the problem is still there. My next thought was maybe it's the cable who's causing this. So I downloaded Reaper from cockos website.

This is where it gets weird... When recording with Reaper the signal are in phase and the phase doesn't get reversed. With Logic it does.

Maybe it's a setup, maybe I'm doing something terribly wrong. But this isn't good that's all I know. I lost 2 days just dealing with Logic.

What version of Logic are you using? Can you add your system info in your signature (See the "Read Me Before Posting" info at the top of this forum). Your I/O plug-in has a "Ping" button that takes care of figuring out the latency.

What if you try to output from a track, then go back and re-record onto another track (without using the I/O plug-in, that is)?

It wasn't at my studio but we were using logic 9.

We tracked with an ensemble and a rosetta... everything went smoothly.

The only problem we had was when during the mixes when we used my digi002 with a lynx aurora.

But after researching I found out it's the digi core audio driver that is causing the phase reverse.

I ordered an Ensemble 4 days ago. So now i'll have 3 rigs at my studio. Logic, Pro Tools HD and Pro Tools 9.

That doesn't surprise me. I mean Digi core audio drivers have all sorts of problems, this one just adds to the list.

Well glad you found the culprit and got the Ensemble, you'll definitely be much happier.
