badger4433
Hi When I bounce down my main mix in Logic it sometimes inserts about 10secs silence at the start of the stereo bounce and cuts the end of the bounce by the same amount! It doesnt always do this - sometimes it will do this with one bounce down and not another within the same project - very annoying! Any help would be appreciated, Cheers, Badger
Eriksimon
Update to at least 9.0.2. (PPC) or 9.1.3. (Intel) First make sure Logc Pro is in the Applications folder and named just "Logic Pro". Make sure your project starts at or after 1 1 1 1.
Jordi Torres
Also, some solutions posted in this thread: Bounce adds 20 seconds silence to front of file??? J.
n6smith
Also, make sure the End of Song/Track marker is correctly positioned before you go to the bounce window... This seems to be a common reason why bounces end prematurely.... and I usually leave the 'include audio tail' option in the bounce window.. checked too.. in case any reverbs or echos after the actual notes have ended, need to be included in the bounce too

Personally, I leaved it unchecked and set a Cycle range starting from the beginning of the song and ending after all notes and effect tails have ended. This automatically sets the Bounce Start and End accordingly.

Not at all.... I know what you mean and yes, sometimes leaving that option checked can cause a few probs... but I have found for some tracks, even setting the end of song marker or cycle range, doesn't give quite the same effect as checking the audio tail setting.. for reasons I don't clearly understand.
