Unwanted delay in note play on piano roll and metronome?

Hey guys so I'm working on this project of mine and out the blue stuff just went wrong. Every time I play the song I've made to the metronome it's waaaay of time. Before hand it was perfectly in time, and I know this especially because most of it is in piano roll!!!! However just now things aren't going well. There is some delay going on that I can't explain. Every time I hit a not on piano roll it takes a half second just for the note to kick in. Why is this happening? and when i play the song along to the metronome it's not on time. Before it was all gravy but now this randomly occurred..Please help!

I had a problem like this recently...check the track delay in the inspector window, top left...

Thanks for the reply. There is no delay on any of the tracks, I don't know whats going on

With these sudden long latencies, what often helps is to to restart coreaudio: go to Logic Pro > Preferences > Audio > Devices > Coreaudio untick enabled, retick enabled, close the window, after 10-30 seconds it'll go and take the "delay" with it...

I am not sure what causes this, but it often happens if another audio app besides Logic is running and using the same audio ports. (iTunes for instance)

So it seems as though this it's only occurring in this specific project of mine. I just opened a new project and it seems to be working fine, but I need it to work in the song I haven't finished yet lol
