David Nahmani
Hey ibt, what are we looking at? Is that an Event List?
ibt
Hi David - no, they’re appearing in the Length/Info column inside SysEx fader windows... they look a bit ominous, like the SysEx messages are too long maybe?(though they seem to be doing what they’re supposed to)... Any thoughts?
David Nahmani
That last pic doesn't show. If you wouldn't mind I'd rather have you attach the pictures to your thread rather than link to them on another site (which in this case doesn't seem to even work anyway). fader8
Hey ibt, I've NEVER seen that before, and I've worked a lot with sysex faders. Is it still there when you restart that Logic project? This looks like some kind of display corruption.
ibt
Is it still there when you restart that Logic project? It is... maybe you can reproduce this when you get a chance : new empty project, Environment window, new fader object, option dbl click that, and in the SysEx window create a new System Exclusive message... that mystery black artifact only appears when : the 2nd number (on the line below the Manufacturer’s ID) is higher than 31 (so 0 32 0 etc.), and there are more than 3 lines of numbers, ie when + is clicked to add a 4th line Maybe I haven’t structured my SysEx messages correctly (though they seem to be working as intended). Should each packet in a SysEx fader be limited to 3 lines?
