vibes17
Hey Guys Need a bit of advice. Ive just got a new mac and im currently migrating everything over. Im doing everything manually rather than using the migration assistant with mac. Ive installed logic and i want to bring over all my instruments and channel strip settings from my old mac. In particular i want to bring all my sampler instruments ive managed to build up quite a collection over the years. I have already copied over my samples folder where all my current sampler instruments reference back to. Can i just simply copy my EXS files on my old mac and paste them into my sample directory on the new mac or is there anything else i need to consider before i do this? Any help appreciated Cheers

CCTMusic
Hi Depending on the exact file path names on the old Mac vs the new Mac, you might find that you'll need to re-link the Sampler Instrument files to the new sample directories. Redmatica's EXS Manager or ProManger are perfect for this: http://www.redmatica.com/Redmatica/Redmatica.html HTH CCT
