trance4ever4
I have a question about adjusting track volumes in the mixer........... This is what is happening.......I load a soundbank into my Sylenth1 plugin and I draw Midi notes in the piano roll editor inside an instrument region in the arrange area. The track volume is at +2.3 db.........I try to lower the track volume to.....lets say about -5 dB and the volume will not stay there.....as soon as it plays it pops right back up to +2.3 dB every time no matter where I lower the volume to....... I have even tried to use track automation and lower volume that way and that still does not work..... Has anyone ever seen this before?? There has to be something I am doing wrong or there is some setting that I cannot find? Any help anyone can give me on this problem would be much appreciated..........Thanks. Scott Jackson
If there is no Track Based Automation on the track, you may have Volume Automation events in the Region. Select the region, press E to open the Event List, click on Notes to filter the notes out and look for Volume Data Controller 7 events. Select them and press delete. If its not TBA or RBA then if you have a MIDI controller connected, unplug it and see if the problem goes away.
