charmingnerd
As far as I can tell, the fade tool only works on a single region, or in the case of a cross fade, two regions. How do I do a slow progressive fade in across multiple regions?
Jordi Torres
Select the regions and use the fade parameters in the inspector. J.
charmingnerd
I don't want to fade in each region, I want to fade across them. Like the beginning of a song for example. I want to slowing fade in a track.

David Nahmani
Automation? +1 On a single track for fading in or out. Fade out on one track while you fade in on another to create a crossfade.
martist
I want ask is it possible to fade multiple selected tracks/regions? Let say I have 3 tracks/regions and I want to fade them all together with one click on the mouse... )) I cannot find how to do this Thanks Martist
charmingnerd
I am unclear if those are answers or not? I don't want to crossfade, I simple want the fade to continue on to the next region so it is a slow build up.

David Nahmani
I am unclear if those are answers or not? Yes, they are. Use volume automation:
martist
Thank you. It works, but this way to fade is not so comfortable for me as I want... I wish in the new Logic I can fade with the mouse multiple regions... P.S. Can you please tell me more about these for options on the fade menu (This one below the fade menu I wrote the numbers) Thanks Martist

David Nahmani
P.S. Can you please tell me more about these for options on the fade menu (This one below the fade menu I wrote the numbers) You mean the fade types? Best method really to understand those is to read how they're described in the manual while you're experimenting with each one of them. Then if you have any further questions let us know. I would say that I use EqP 99.9% of the time.
David Nahmani
Fade the master volume? Haha...How do you expect to fade master volume in the middle of the song??? Hmmm... the same exact way you would do it at the end of a song! With volume automation. But my guess is that's not what you're after. I completely agree with you that it would be nice to be able to fade multiple regions graphically rather than numerically.
martist
Hi David, thank you for your support. About volume automation... If needed this is what I do. Now can I ask you a question different from this post I'm wondering is it possible to sort manually the AUX in the Mixer... Very often Logic just don't sort them 1,2,3 etc, but 1,10,3,2... The way I do this at this time is creating Arrange track for every AUX and then move them where I want.
