How do you add modulation? [SOLVED]

I'm using the ES2 synth.

I'll explain.

I've been learning logic through MIDI files, and sometimes I've noticed there are these white bars that appear on the region. I looked at the event list and they're modulation. So, then I got curious and wondered how to do that from scratch.

Oh ok - well like I said you could just record it from your MIDI controller.

Another way is to program it in the Hyper Editor, or in the Hyper Draw section of the Score, Piano Roll or Arrange area. IMO you should probably start with the piano roll: click the Hyper Draw button at the very bottom left, then a Hyper Draw area will open at the bottom of the Piano Roll. At the top right of the Hyper Draw area, there's a button with a triangle: click that and choose "Modulation". Then draw your modulation curves.

You know I have a MIDI keyboard (M-AUDIO KeyStudio 25) sitting next to me, but I kinda like inputting everything by mouse and keyboard alone. I was never good at playing piano, or any other instrument. So I like to input this way.
