medics
I've recently upgraded to a 12 Mac Pro. In my latest projects i keep getting the memory getting low message. I didn't get this on my full up iMac! My newer projects aren't much bigger than older ones and i'm not running any other applications whilst running Logic, and changing buffer settings doesn't help, it just makes Logic put lines through my inserts. Any suggestions?
Eriksimon
Try running Logic in 64 bits mode?

David Nahmani
1,245 MIID regions is a LOT. Can you merge some of those together? You could also try to lower your undo history in your preferences.

So if i merge my MIDI regions together in my Arrange page that'll use less memory? I usually have them split up every 2 bars...never knew that would affect anything! Thanks David. David Nahmani
So if i merge my MIDI regions together in my Arrange page that'll use less memory? Yes: try it while the project info window is open, and see the number displayed in the "Memory" column for MIDI regions drop down. I usually have them split up every 2 bars...never knew that would affect anything! It can when you reach huge numbers.
