"Tuning" Space Designer drone tones

Hey guys - I really love the "drone tones" presets in Space Designer but I can't figure out which parameter to change to alter the pitch characteristics of the drone.

I'm not a SD expert so maybe the tones are fixed because it's impulse response? I'm not sure. All I know is that I always want to "tune" the reverb to match the song's key.

Any ideas?

Although I don't know this preset and can't try it right now, I suspect it sounds like some more or less elaborated flutter echo. SD uses impulse responses which are so to speak the sampled sound of what the reverb does to a single peak (click or shot). If that impulse response has a definite pitch, you can alter the pitch by changing the pitch of the sample. So you have to locate the corresponding IR (probably a WAV or an AIF file), make a copy of it and use an adequate tool to change the pitch of the sample (Logic can do this by its time/pitch machine). Then use tihs IR with SD.

If the sound is really a simple flutter echo or a combination of few flutter echoes, why not play with Delay Designer? Be sure to switch "Sync" off, use feedback and try delay times of few milliseconds.
