Soundhound
I have two Logic housekeeping questions. A) The first is I always find that I have millions (okay I exagerate) post it notes sitting around with various things on them. recent levels on particular tracks that I want to remember to go quickly back without experimentation, names of midi grooves I want to remember, different instruments I've tried, kits in Superior Drummer that might be good for a particular piece etc etc. Does anyone have a similar situation and a solution they like on the mac for keeping all these notes? Some kind of scraptchpad app (low memory usage hopefully!) or better, some way to do it in Logic so that the notes are always there with the project. B) Second, kind of related. Where do you keep notes about defining characteristics of particular revisions of a project, or mixes etc. As in, 'this mix has lowered cello and more funk bass', this revision uses the cabasa and took out all the other percussion...' Or am I being a lazy bum and should just keep a notebook? Thanks!

Logic 8 and 9 have a Notes tab, with sub tabs for project and track level notes. You can write anything in them. I use the project notes tab for lyrics, so I don't have to have a text file open while recording myself. tg
