Pspiralife
Hi, I cannot open a logic 8 project. Logic seems to crash every time during scanning/loading of a particular exs file. The exs kit is "percussion kit" I have to force quit from here. I have no idea what to do. I have tried moving/deleting the percussion kit file. Any help would be much appreciated. Also all of my back ups do the same thing. Thank you for your time Shammie Pspiralife
David Nahmani
1) Open Logic. 2) Choose Preferences > Audio and disable the Core Audio driver. Click Apply. 3) Open your project. 4) Click-hold the culprit EXS24 and uninstantiate it (choose "No plug-in"). 5) In your audio preferences, re-enable the core audio driver and close the preference window. David Nahmani
It's possible your project might be corrupted. You could go on with my method, disabling core audio, disabling more plug-ins, re-enabling core audio until you find the culprit plug-in(s). Or you could open a new empty project, locate your project in the File Browser and import all its tracks into the new empty project to rebuild a new project file.
